 Please read our PUPPY QUESTIONNAIRE and our CONTRACT if interested in a Parsons dog or puppy. If afterwards, you are interested in one of our litters, please email me at sydney@riousa.com. Deposits are not accepted until I have a confirmed pregnancy, and I have approved you for adoption. If you are interested in a litter that I do not yet have confirmed pregnancy, I can put you on a waiting list, and can contact you once pregnancy is confirmed so that you may make a deposit at that time. PayPal, check, or cash accepted.

We evaluate for conformation and temperament at exactly 49 days of age using Volhard's PAT (Puppy Aptitude Test). Prices of individual pups are determined based upon PAT and conformation evaluations. for info on temperament testing check this link http://www.workingdogs.com/testing_volhard.htm

OUR BASE PRICING GUIDELINE FOR MOST LITTERS (SOME LITTERS ARE MORE)
Puppies sold on AKC limited registration contract are $800, and full AKC breeding rights are $1000-$1200, with pick male and female $1500. Prices are determined based on the evaluations for conformation and temperament at 7 weeks of age. Sometimes an older pup will be sold at a reduced price. Our program is breeding for a quality "total" dog, which means we are breeding for the totality of beauty, brains, and health. We will not sell a puppy into a breeding contract if we feel that this puppy does not meet out strict criteria for health, temperament, and conformation. We have an extensive health guarantee, and guarantee our dogs for life. See our purchase contract for for information on guarantees, etc. Shipping available to many countries. Shipping within the continental US runs approximately $400 for an 8 week old puppy, which includes crate ($40 for #200), flight (Delta DASH typically about $290 Continental US), and required vet certification($70). Shipping is not included in the price of the pup.

 

$200 DEPOSIT FOR PUPPY WHICH IS NON-REFUNDABLE unless I am unable to provide you a pup. Once approved for adoption and a deposit has been made, you have entered into a contract with Parsons Creek Shepherds.

This is Darla's first litter and so far she is an exceptional mother.  She was bred to our stud male, Solomon

Solomon is a large male weighing in at about 85 lbs and at the top of the standard at 26" tall.  He has a friendly, outgoing temperament with good play drive. Solomon has very excellent conformation, substance, and a solid, masculine structure; including superb bone, a large masculine head, excellent pigment and coat color, and perfect compact cat paw type feet. Solomon is proportioned and typed more like European style Berger Blanc Suisse (White Shepherds) and has a confident, friendly and playful, yet protective temperament.

Darla is a small girl, weighing in at 60lbs and is 23 1/2" at the withers. She is very alpha with other dogs and yet friendly with people.  Darla is not afraid of anything.  She has a great drivy temperament, combined with perfect conformation, and very good movement.  She has superior front reach in her movement and also has a European style proportions (8.8 to 10, instead of 8 to 10) which makes her quick to move and very agile.  Darla has excellent coat color and pigmentation and perfect cat paw type feet.  She has very good bone for a girl and has absolutely fantastic substance, meaning a nice wide chest and narrow waist...we shall have no undersubstanced dogs here at Parsons!

Most, if not all of these puppies are expected to be at least breed/show quality.  Any pet quality puppies are $800, and breed/show quality puppies to range from $1400-$1700 with pick male/female $2000.  Grand Champion, BIS, and Top Ten prospects expected. Solomon has already earned a Reserve Best In Multi Breed Show and he is still not yet in his prime!
