Wally is owned by, and lives with, Bill and Terry Wiebke in Lane County, Oregon. They purchased the "green collared" boy at 10 weeks old in early 2009. He was my litter pick, for both conformation and temperament, having gorgeous structure, paired with the high confidence of his dam (Elka) and the tracking instinct of his sire (Hagan). They named him Wally, and quickly discovered his talent/obsession for tracking and decided to begin training. Wally earned his SAR vest for his 1 year birthday, and is on track for certification in summer 2010. More pics to come of Wally's adventures in Lane County's SAR group as they are reported in.
Wally is a fantastic example of the White Shepherd breed, in both temperament, health, and composition. He has fantastic tracking instincts, and trains easily.
